CALM

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK and the cause of 18 deaths every day. They campaign for better suicide prevention, and their helpline and webchat service supports thousands of people a year. Their work with communities too, empowering them to share their experiences and encouraging men to get the help they need before they reach the point of crisis.

Their Support

CALM are a founding supporter of the SASP, and are absolutely key to our core work. Not only have they supported us financially since 2013, they also hosted the SASP from 2013 – 2019. Together, we have helped raise awareness of the need for suicide bereavement support and petitioned government to appoint the first Minister ever to be responsible for suicide prevention. They have supported us to develop our network of organisations, and helped us to grow.
