The British Transport Police are the national police force for the railways. Every day, we police the journeys of more than six million passengers. Our aim is to get you home safe, secure and on time. They have been operating a Suicide Prevention Policy since 2010, involving Suicide Prevention Plans (SPP) and referrals for suicidal people presenting on the railway.
