While you are there for them, we are there for you.

After someone dies by suicide, the people around them deserve the highest quality care.

They can feel lost or overwhelmed. They may have questions that you’re not sure how to answer, or need support you don’t feel equipped to provide.

We can help you to help them.

Join SASP’s network of organisations working in suicide postvention to share advice and best practice, and to make your voice heard.

What does membership include?

If you work with people who have been affected by suicide, SASP can connect you to a supportive network of other professionals in similar roles. Becoming a member means you will:

  1. Have the opportunity to join our quarterly members meetings and regular webinars to share challenges, find answers, and make your voice heard. Learn what’s working for other organisations, find fresh ideas, and new opportunities for collaboration.
  2. Receive our regular newsletter to help you keep on top of a changing environment, cut through the noise to deliver the most relevant insights, and signpost quality resources which you can share directly with your service users.
  3. Have access to the SASP team, who can guide you through tricky areas like securing funding, evaluating your service, and working with other agencies.

Who can become a member?

Supporting people affected by suicide can be tough. But you’re not alone. SASP membership is open to:

  • Organisations and services (if you’re an individual wanting to join, you must sign up on behalf of your organisation);
  • Those who are delivering suicide bereavement support, or;
  • Those closely linked to the area of suicide bereavement support.

You can find our current members here.

How do I find out more?

If you are interested in membership, we would love to hear from you.
